Obituary for Charles P. Lesniewski

Charles P. Lesniewski, 83, of Weymouth Township, passed away on April 8, 2021 at home. He was born and raised in Bronx, NY, moving to South Jersey over 50 years ago.

Charles proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, having been stationed in Germany.

He worked most of his life as a machinist and retired from SPC Plastics Corporation. Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was a devoted parishioner of St. Nicholas Church, and more recently, at St. Vincent DePaul Church.
Charles was predeceased by his daughter, Theresa; mother, Mary; brother, Joseph; daughter-in-law Cynthia; and son-in-law, Harry Southrey.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Josephine; his children: Stephen Lesniewski, Joanne Yost (Fred), Patti Jenigen (Walt), and Deborah Southrey; his grandchildren: Christin Petrosh, Fred III, and Cody Yost; Stephen Jr. and Shawn Lesniewski; and Mark and Amanda Jenigen; and his 11 great-grandchildren. Charles is also survived by his sister, Mary Hanmer (James) and many nieces.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Pastor Blessings for all his comforting and kind thoughts during this difficult time.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, 11:00am at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Mays Landing. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
