Obituary for Claudia J Schultz
Claudia Schultz, 85, of Millville, NJ (previously Mays Landing, NJ) passed away peacefully on December 31, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.
Claudia was born on January 11, 1935 to Johanna and Edward Schultz in Central Islip, NY. She worked as a nurse, then she moved to NJ and continued to work as a nurse, owner of Miller’s Auto Repair, and then retiring as the family babysitter. Claudia loved her family, writing poetry, watching scary movies, and country music.
Claudia is preceded in death by her sons David and John, her parents, sisters Lillian Kurtz, Patricia Zalak, Frances Gentle, Euphemia Smith, and grandson Edward Schultz, Jr.
She is survived by her children Johanna (Mario) Alavez of Millville, Valerie (Moe) Melendez of Lindenwold, Ramona Miller of Mays Landing, Glenn (Charlotte) Miller of Ventnor and Edward (Vicki) Schultz of NY, daughter-in-law Lucia Miller and son-in-law Dennis Van Horn.
Claudia had 13 grandchildren: Georgia, Christine, Frances, Natalie, Luanna, Jessica, Angel, Selena, Ricardo, Jennifer, David, John, and Xochitl, plus 21 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her memory on Monday, January 11 from 9:30 – 11 AM at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
