Connie, who loved to be called “Mimi” by her grandchildren, went home to be with the Lord on November 15, 2020 at the age of 66.

Born in Millville, NJ, Connie graduated from Oakcrest high school in 1972. She went on to marry the late Donald DeCicco in 1976 and she raised their two children in Mays Landing.

Connie worked as an appointment coordinator at Boardwalk Honda for 15 years before becoming permanently disabled in 2015.

Connie had a passion for all animals, specifically cardinals, and she loved reading and cross stitching. From a young age she loved to get her groove on. Connie was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, grandmother and friend. Her crazy sense of humor kept everyone laughing. Regardless of the trials and tribulations she endured, she managed to always put others' needs above her own. There is nothing she would not do for her friends and family.

Connie was preceded in death by her father, Harry McNew. She is survived by her mother Janet McNew. Also surviving are her daughter Catherine Rosa (Francisco), son, Biagio, grandchildren, Alyse, Javier, Mireya, Francisco Jr., along with Biagio Jr., Angelina, Brianna, Carlo and her brother, Brian McNew. Connie also had many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
