Obituary for Dorothea L. Progin
Dorthea Louise Progin (Schuetter), of Mays Landing, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2020.
Born in Philadelphia on November 28, 1927 in Philadelphia, she grew up in Abington, PA and lived most of her life in New Jersey. She graduated from Abington High School in 1946, Preston Maternity Hospital in 1948, Germantown Hospital in 1952, and received her BSN from the University of Pennsylvania in 1967.
She worked at Atlantic City Hospital, Shore Memorial Hospital, in Public Health for 10 years in Philadelphia Health Dept., and 17 years in the Atlantic County NJ Health Department.
Preceded in death by her husband Francois, she is survived by her step-daughter Vera Donovan and her three children, Nephew Franklyn Yohe (Susan) and his four children, and Niece Kathleen Stauffer (Robert) and her four children.
