Obituary for Edilberto Capulong Simbulan
Edilberto C. Simbulan, age 84, of Mays Landing, suddenly passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
Edilberto (affectionately known as Eddie) was born January 8, 1939 in San Simon, Pampanga Philippines, to parents Jose and Delapaz Simbulan.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Emma Alcantara; stepson Eman Alcantara; daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Robert Spinner and Carolyn and Marc Maresca; grandchildren Nicolas Maresca, Sara, Seth and Lyla Spinner; brothers and sisters-in-law Dan and Mic Simbulan, Ruben and Millie Simbulan; sisters and brothers-in-law Luz and Edgardo Basilio, Alma and David Manese, Thita and Albert Daylo. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and friends.
In his retirement, Eddie enjoyed fishing, crabbing, tending to his vegetable garden and cooking.
He will be missed dearly. May he rest in peace.
There will be a viewing on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:45am followed by a memorial service at 12:00pm, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 5021 Harding Highway, Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
