Obituary for Elizabeth A. Petuskey
Elizabeth “Beth” Petuskey, of Mays Landing, NJ (November 22, 1962 – March 28, 2023) died peacefully at home surrounded by her family after battling metastatic breast cancer.
While working as a runway model she earned degrees in Performing Arts and Elementary to 12th grade Education with 36 credits toward a Graduate Degree in Hospitality, Restaurant & Tourism Management. She landed her dream job as the Academy Hospitality Director & Educator at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology (ACIT/Vo-Tech) where she taught for 24 years. She also served as an adjunct Hospitality Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Beth was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Agnes; her brother, Bill; and nephew, Joseph III. She is survived by her brother Joseph Jr. (Carol); sister-in-law, Karen Petuskey; sister, Mary Ellen Campion (Bill); brother, Mike (Barb); and several nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed live theatre, watching movies, TV & spending time with family and at the river with best friends Terese (Kevin), Jam, Karen, K2, Kimarie, Angela, Sebastion & Henry, and always had her cat Abigail by her side.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at Church of St. Katharine Drexel, 6075 W Jersey Ave, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. With a Mass of Christian Burial at noon.
