George M. Rowlands, 85 of Absecon, NJ went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2020.

George was born December 27, 1935 in Folsom Pa. to the late George and Barbara Rowlands.

George grew up in Somers Point, NJ attending Ocean City High School. George worked as a charter bus driver for Chick’s Travel Tours in Hammonton before retiring. He loved model trains, working on old cars, fishing and RV Camping especially with the SJ Clam Diggers RV Club.

He is predeceased by his wife of 42 years Ruth Ann. He is survived by his daughters Pat Smith, Kimberly (Joel) Gollub, grandchildren Jessica Fuchs and Thomas Smith, great grandson Noel Sanchez, sister in laws Lillian Maccarella, Carol Doyne and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all those who helped care for George in his final days.

Graveside services will be private.
