Obituary for James John Bruno
James John Bruno, 83, of Mays Landing passed away on January 22, 2023.
He was born and raised in Kearny, and lived most of his life in North Jersey before moving to Florida and most recently moving to Mays Landing. And his younger years, James was an avid piano player. He worked as a bartender at the Town Tavern Country Inn of West Milford for many years.
James enjoyed shooting pool, trips to the horse track or the casinos and loved pizza and a good veal parmesan. James loved nothing more than his family, eating good food and being by the pool.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Barbara, his son, James and his wife, Christine, and his grandson Cobia.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Friday, January 27th from 2 to 4 PM at the Boakes Funeral Home 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, NJ, where reflections will be shared at 4 PM.
