Obituary for James P. Petitt
James J. Petitt, of Buena Vista Twp., passed away peacefully on March 22, 2021.
He is survived by his wife Linda; daughter Megan (Barry); sons Shawn and Michael; brother John (Joyce); and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents Dorothy and David; brothers: Dave (Butch), Charlie, and Harry; sisters: Patricia, Lynn, Sue, and Eleanor.

James was retired from the State of NJ Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds. He had a black seal license. He loved music BBQ’s, and was an Eagles fan (both team and group). He also loved boxing, concerts, and horse shoes.
Come together and celebrate a life well lived on April 10th from 2-3:30 pm at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing where services and reflections will be shared at 3:30.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship in Jim’s name will be given at this year’s graduation. Please mail your donations to the Estell Manor School, 128 Cape May Ave., Estell Manor, NJ 08319.
