Obituary for Jamie D. Hermann

Jamie D. Hermann (née Glenn) born January 2, 1954, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 28, 2021.

Jamie had worked at numerous real estate offices in Atlantic County for over 40 years. She helped so many sell and find their forever home. Not only was she just a realtor, for fun Jamie found a passion for arts and crafts. She enjoyed painting most of all. If you were to ever come across her she would often speak about her love for the lake and we can’t ever forget about her fairy gardens, her love for hummingbirds, and how much she enjoyed spending her days with family and friends. Jamie was so loved, her presence would bring a smile to just about anyone’s face. If she wasn’t busy making you laugh or singing one of her favorite songs then she was definitely filling your ears with the best advice.

Predeceased by her husband, Joseph (Joe) Giagunto, her parents James and Leila, her brother James and her nephew, James (Jimmy). Jamie is survived by her sisters, Bette Lee Hermansen and Judy Braun. Her nieces Katie (Shaun), Kelly (Mike) and Hailey.

There was no greater love then Jamie’s for her beloved children, Brian (Jenn) Alicia (Jose) grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashley, Angelina, Joseph Avaley, Brian, Nicole, Nate, and great-granddaughter Kylie. She will surely be missed by her dogs, Molly and Marley and her cat Chloe who she loved so much.

Jamie had a beautiful smile. She will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial service will be held on March 5, 2021 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ 08330. Masks will be required. Burial will be private.
