Josefa Liciaga (79) gained her wings and went to walk with the angels on February 10, 2023 with her family by her side in Williamstown, NJ.
She was born August 9th 1943 in Isabella, P.R. To Conception and Fernanda Liceaga Garcia a agriculture worker at the sugar cane field. Her mother was a cook at a school in Puerto Rico. Josefa had 2 brothers and 5 sisters. She moved to Brooklyn NY at 18 years old.
She married Hector Feliciano and had 5 beautiful children.
She loved listening to music and dancing. She brought joy to everyone. She was an exceptional mother and grandmother. She cared deeply for her friends and family. She went out her way to help others. Ensured every child was safe, healthy, and happy.
Josefa is survived by her children Lydia, Miriam, Lenny, Angel, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Lalo.
Please join us to celebrate her life on Sunday, February 19th from 11am-2pm, at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ, where a service and reflections will be shared at 2 PM followed by a ceremonial dove release.
