Josephine Lewniewski, of Weymouth Township, passed away on April 15, 2021 at home. She was born in Poland and relocated to NY City at the age of 17, where she met her husband of 62 years, Charles. She has been a resident of South Jersey for the past 50 years.

Josie was dedicated house wife and mother and worked for the Laurette Press and retired from Sears and Roebuck of Mays Landing. She was an avid gardener and loved to cook and sew. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Nicholas Church, and more recently, at St. Vincent DePaul Church.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles; daughter, Theresa; daughter-in-law Cynthia; and son-in-law, Harry Southrey.
She is survived by her children: Stephen Lesniewski, Joanne Yost (Fred), Patti Jenigen (Walt), and Deborah Southrey; her grandchildren: Christin Petrosh, Fred III, and Cody Yost; Stephen Jr. and Shawn Lesniewski; and Mark and Amanda Jenigen; and her 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Pastor Blessings for all his comforting and kind thoughts during this difficult time.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, 11:00am at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Mays Landing. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
