Karen Louise Archetto, 71, Lifelong resident of Mizpah, NJ, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 23, 2021 and joined her loving Creator. Karen was a fiercely dedicated mother, devoted grandmother, and loyal friend. As a young women, Karen worked as a waitress in many South Jersey family restaurants and Casinos. She eventually pursued her academic goals, graduated with honors, and became a registered nurse. She enjoyed a long career as a nurse and retired from Atlantic Care after almost 20 years of dedicated and compassionate service. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going out to dinner, shopping (don’t forget the coupons), and watching her elaborate bird feeders in the spring.

She is survived by her three sons, Howard (Inhwa) Nussbaum, Dean (Aliscia) Archetto, Benjamin (Lena) Archetto, her loving granddaughter Giavanna Archetto, her creatively gifted cousin Kathryn Ann Hritz, her amazing sister-in-law’s Roseanne (Chickie) Hopewell, and Marian Keller as well and many nieces, nephews extended family/friends, and a brother.

Cremation and services will be held privately. In lieu flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Funny Farm Animal Rescue, Cape May Zoo, or your local ASPCA.
