Obituary for Kathleen A Gallagher
Gallagher, Kathleen Ann, 66 of Little Egg Harbor Township, went to be with our Lord unexpectedly on Weds., Dec 7. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ and grew up in Bargaintown. She graduated from Absegami High School class of 1976. "Tokaha." She worked at Steinbach's in the 70's, and then went to the Sands Casino as a slot cashier for 26 years.
Kathleen was a devout Catholic, a loving daughter, sister, and friend. Kathleen's love and soul touched many friends and loved ones and will leave an emptiness in all of our hearts.
She is predeceased by her loving mother Carol; brother William (Bill); and both sets of grandparents, William and Helen Gallagher and Joseph and Grace Bettinger.
She is loved by herfFather William Gallagher, brother Timothy Gallagher, and Norah Smith, "Baby Sister" Maryjean and Matthew Zajac; many aunts and uncles, especially "Unckie Poo" Rev. Eugene Bettinger, O.Carm and many cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held Sunday, December 11, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ from 6-8 pm. A viewing will be held Monday, December 12, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 5021 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, from 11am - 1pm with a Mass at 1pm.
