Obituary

Margaret “Peggy” Patricia Frick (Mathews), 76, a daughter, sister, wife, mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother peacefully passed away on May 16th, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents John and Mildred Mathews (Ireland), brothers Larry, John and Joseph Mathews, and her devoted and loving husband Richard A Frick. Peggy is survived by her six children: Richard (Christina) Frick, David (Kristie) Frick, Margaret “Peg” (Kirk) Kerlin, Victoria (Martin) Burke, Michelle Masucci, Alicia (Russ) Beckman; 15 Grandchildren: Carl, Nikole, Samantha, Alexander, Kimberly, Rebecca, James, Aleah, David, Kyle, Matthew, Elizabeth, Hannah, Christopher, and Faith; one Great-Grandchild: Richard; her sister, Nancy Jones (Mathews) and niece, Jennifer Garzo (Jones).

Peggy had a contagious and distinctive laugh that could be heard while she enjoyed time with her grandchildren, game-night with friends & family and during her numerous Avon & Tupperware parties at her home. She loved watching B-movies & the sci-fi channel, and was renowned among family & friends for her Christmas decorating skills.

She would often give her opinion, unfiltered and without apology, but never dismissed you for your choice and always welcomed you home when it didn’t work out - albeit with the comment “I told you so.”

There will be a private service for family members.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Dementia Society of America.
