Obituary for Steven C. Bass Jr.
Steven Charles Bass Jr., 36, of Williamstown, NJ, tragically passed away on May 06, 2023 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Steven was born on September 13, 1986 at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital. He attended Buena High School, where he played football and was in FFA. In 2003, Steven met the love of his life, Amber Peacock (Wife). Steven and Amber went on to have 3 amazing children, Haylee, Kaleb, and Jacob. Steven loved nothing more than spending time with his family and going on adventures that included fishing, spur of the moment car rides, and riding quads. Steven also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a member of Exiled Brotherhood M.C. with his best friend Rich Kind, where he was dubbed the name “Lunker”. Steven was employed by McCarthy Tire Service in 2014 and was committed to his work. Steven was recognized by those that worked with him as a top performer.
He is survived by his wife Amber Peacock and 3 children Haylee, Kaleb, and Jacob; mother Anna Bass, father Steve Bass, mother-in-law Patricia Peacock, father-in-law John Peacock, sisters Dawn Bass, Jessica Bass (Fiancé Steven Carter), Melissa Bass; brother-in-law Michael Peacock; sister-in-laws Autumn McDevitt (Ryan McDevitt), April Ness (Joseph Ness) and Ashley Shipp (Daniel Shipp); nieces Liberty, Emma, Kylee, Kiera and nephews Junior, Parker, Zachary, Elijah, and Levi along with many other family and friends who love and miss him dearly. Steven was preceded in death by his nephew Avery Peacock.
A Gathering of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 4pm to 7pm at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
