Obituary for Susan R. DiFabio
Susan R. DiFabio, 90, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2022, surrounded by each and every one of her loved ones.
She was born in 1932 in South Philadelphia to Philip and Margaret (DiGiacomo) Forte and graduated in 1950 from Southern Philadelphia High School. Susan started working as a cashier and hostess in various restaurants. She also worked as a pit clerk in the Sands and Playboy Casinos in Atlantic City. Susan did an incredible amount of volunteer work and was also a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Church. She was an outstanding cook and that is what she loved to do most for her family.
Susan was preceded in death by her husband Louis DiFabio and her parents.
Susan is survived by her sons Bruce “Tony” DiFabio and Craig DiFabio; her precious grandchildren Angela DiFabio, Carly DiFabio, and Louis DiFabio; her sister Rosalie (Joseph) Dewes; nephew, nieces, cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 5021 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, NJ on October 20th from 9-11 am, service to immediately follow at 11am. The family kindly requests donations in lieu of flowers to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
