Obituary for Theresa C. Kachinsky
Theresa Angen Kachinsky, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Pomona, NJ. She was born on March 11, 1938 in Elizabeth, NJ. Theresa and her husband Joseph lived in Middletown, NJ for 40 years where she was loved by many at her job at Red Bank Radiologists: Little Silver Mammography Center before retiring and moving to Mays Landing, NJ. Together, Theresa and Joseph decided to leave retirement to work at Story Book Land in Egg Harbor, NJ where their grandchildren visited frequently. Theresa was a faithful parishioner of St. Katherine Drexel in Egg Harbor, NJ.
Theresa was predeceased by her parents Laura and Joseph Angen; her father and mother-in-law John and Eva Kachinsky; and her brother-in-law Clayton Blanchard.
Theresa is survived by her husband of 64 years Joseph Kachinsk; son Joseph Kachinsky and Debbie Marchetti; daughter Lisa Cerwinski and son-in-law James Cerwinski; granddaughter Kelsey Lehmann and husband Wes Lehmann; and granddaughters Caroline Cerwinski, Jessica Kachinsky and her fiancé John Reiner; grandson Joseph Kachinsky; her sister Joanne Blanchard and her brother Joseph Angen; and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mary Ann and Skip Leary.
Theresa was known by all as a loving and compassionate woman that always knew the best advice to give in any situation (and she was always right). Her notorious sharp and quick sense of humor never failed to brighten everyone’s day. Above all, her greatest pride and joys in life came from enjoying retirement with her husband Joseph, and spending time with and witnessing the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. She left a remarkable, positive impression on all who had the pleasure to meet and to know her.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date.
