Jayne, Doris Jane (nee Pearson) - 97, peacefully “flew away” from Meadowview in Northfield on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Born in Governeur, NY, she resided in Bucks County, PA, until relocating to Egg Harbor Township in 1966. She was employed as an Executive Secretary at Wheaton Plastics until retirement. Doris was a long-time member of Honey Brook Bible Fellowship in Egg Harbor Township and was active in the Bargaintown AARP, Shore Mall Walkers, Scarlet Sassys (Red Hat Society) and Ranch Hope for Boys Auxiliary. She is predeceased by her parents, Lily and Alfred Pearson; brothers Alfred and Thomas, and sister, Barbara Pearson, and survived by brother, Gordon. She is survived and will be missed by her loving children, Doris (Elliot) Acker, Nancy Wiesenthal, Robert, Linda (Gary) Potter, Ronald (Beth), and Alfred. She will also be greatly missed by her six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren including locally, Olivia and Madeline Chiorazzo and Noah Martens, who adored their “GiGi.” The family sincerely thanks everyone at Meadowview in Northfield for their compassionate and loving care of our precious mother. Due to Covid-19, service and burial will be held privately, with plans for a memorial service to be held at a later date when it is safer to gather.

I always thought of Doris over the years and sad that we did not keep in touch.
She was a professional and loved her job. We shared many a good time and
she would always be willing to go with me if I needed company to many a place
or event. She was not afraid to do most anything...I remember her candy making
and a lot of people enjoyed the end products. She tried her hand at acting in local
plays and even took up belly dancing to keep active. She was one special lady and
it saddens me to see so many of my former co-workers at Wheaton Plastics leave us.
Nancy, Doris, Linda, Bob and Alfred your mother used to talk of you and was so proud
of each one. May your memories help you thru this dark time. I will miss her.

I remember Doris well having had the pleasure of working with her at Wheaton Plastics for many years. I remember her as a extremely nice person. She was always professional and she presented herself very nicely. She always did a good job, as did most of the pepeople at Wheaton Plastics. I hope that she was able to enjoy her last years in retirement. Mat she Rest In Peace.
